【 Style frames / Title sequence 】
Throughout the film, it was the activities of the investigation team that led the victims to speak up. The evidence finally brought the church’s scandals into the spotlight. Although the power of a single light is small, countless lights will make no place for the darkness to hide.
We decide to use evidence and lights as framing devices with pen-and-ink illustration as way of execution. Using Power of Ten as transition method, we decide to mislead the audience with the evidence and detective board at the beginning, then as the camera zooms out, the audience would gradually view the whole city with lights. These lights finally form the title “Spotlight”.
